the portraits in this series are drawn with a single, continuous line that never intersects with itself. each drawing was completed in one sitting as a meditation, which the viewer can then relive by following the line. up close, the line shows the subject as a stream of consciousness, whereas from a distance, the subject can be understood as a collection of their experiences.
